There are already so many books I want to read, and such little time, that why not add more to my list? Here are 28(?) 2022 releases that I am either fully excited for, or cautiously.
I recently went through my bookshelves and picked out my absolute favourite books that shine under their dust jacket. Please let me know whether you are a hardback or paperwork stan, and whether you remove the dust jacket before reading! Scroll down to the bottom to see a video of these books without their dust jacket.
I absolutely LOVE a book with a map, and I know alot of other people do too. Nothing makes me love a fantasy series more than the inclusion of a map to help me visualise the story/plot. These are my favourite maps from my bookshelves.
The Dark Chorus by Ashley Meggitt is one of those books that will take you on a ride from start to finish. You follow The Boy as he looks to save his mothers lost soul, helping his friends he meets along the way. However, do not think this a cute YA book about a boy making friends and learning to find his place in the world, The Dark Chorus quickly shows its hands as a gruesome horror that takes you on a trip through other worlds, ritual killings and child abuse.
My TBR is always growing, and I have been intrigued by all the below authors, who I will be adding to my TBR now! Let me know of any other Asian authors I should check out.
I have read some amazing books by Asian authors over the last few years, so I wanted to share them with anyone looking for more authors for their TBR.
Whoops, apparently I forgot to do an April TBR, or any wrapups recently. It's safe to say I had a terrible reading month in April, so lets just move on and start afresh! This month is the Asian Readathon hosted by With Cindy. My plan is to read the below books, if I have any time after I want to finish some of the books I've started this year and not finished.
I'm very excited to take part in the ACMC (Animal Companian, mythical creatures) readathon, along with the Tis the Damn Readathon this month! So let's get into it.
I recently put together my wrap up of my January reads, all of which I review on Goodreads, Storygraph and my Instagram highlights. I picked a quote I liked from each book for my Instagram reviews and wanted to share them below.
January was a hectic month for me, including reading 11 books. So, lets check out the stats!
